Happy Friday! I have big plans to hit up Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and a few other spots today in search of some fall decor. I can’t wait, but for now I wanted to share some of my favorites from the week!
First off, this absolutely beautiful office makeover:
1 – Farmhouse Office from Liz Marie Galvan
I find that offices can be hard rooms to find inspiration for. It seems like the practicality of a desk and comfortable chair doesn’t always lend itself to beautiful design. But this room? Perfection. I love the planked walls, the gorgeous found pieces, and the unconventional farmhouse table with upholstered chairs. I think I could definitely be pretty productive in this spot!
2 – Oreo cheesecake bars
Did anyone else notice that with the advent of Pinterest, there was also a sudden uptick in recipes that couldn’t be just one dessert? Like for instance, is a recipe for “chocolate chip cookie dough brownie fudge cheesecake” (topped with whipped cream of course) reaaaally necessary?
Well, these bars aren’t quite so over-the-top, but they are definitely on the “I’ll diet tomorrow” track.
I made these based off a good cheesecake bar recipe that I have, and I might make a few more modifications and then share the recipe on the blog. If I make these again though, I’ll probably have to bring them into work. These are way too dangerous to have hanging out in the fridge!
I mentioned this in my recent post about cold brew iced coffee, but wanted to say again…this is good stuff! The flavors in this coffee seemed to really shine when brewed in the cold brew method. I’m also curious to try making hot coffee with this blend in my French press to see if there is a difference.
So if you like crème brûlée, or flavors reminiscent of butterscotch, definitely give this one a try.
4 – Amy Lynn Andrews
And finally, if you are a blogger, you need to check out Amy Lynn Andrews’ blog. She is one of the few resources I have found that offers really solid usable information on the ins and outs of blogging…for free. There are lots of blogging questions I have had that were answered quite well on Amy’s site. Plus she has a “table of contents” navigation making it easy to find answers quickly.
If you are looking for answers about growing a blog, affiliate marketing, using WordPress, or basically anything else related to blogging, I encourage you to go check it out.
Alright, well that wraps up this Friday Favorites post! Share one of your favorites from the week with me in the comments below!
