Equipment

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup lemon juice (squeezed fresh from 2-3 lemons)
  • 5 teaspoons sugar (add up to 6 teaspoons if you like it quite sweet)
  • 1 cup water
  • ice

Instructions

  • Be sure the seeds are removed from the lemon juice before getting started. Combine the lemon juice, sugar, and water into a pint mason jar and close the lid tightly. Shake for 30-60 seconds.
  • Chill lemonade in the fridge for about 15 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved. Check the bottom of the glass to see if there is any sugar left behind. Give the jar another shake or two.
  • The flavors will be strong/concentrated. Adjust flavors to your liking (if needed) either by adding additional cold water, pouring over ice, or a combination of both. Enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers: Should you have any leftovers, just replace the lid to your jar and store in the fridge.
